Introduction
The four groups that covered London have been merged
together with Club Unity contacts to make the new London group.

Larry Parker
Larry came to
Christ five years ago. Not having many Christian friends and experiencing a
lack of social interaction on the Christian scheme, Larry caught hold of the
vision of a few guys at NFI Sidcup. Along with friends, in particular, John
Hopkins, the vision of Club Unity was born, with God putting it firmly on
our hearts. The aims are to get Christians together on a social level and
network, and to introduce non-Christians to the Church without the stigma
attached in going to a church service. Since then Larry has moved to New
Life church part of the Ichthus Fellowship in Greenwich. They have been very
supportive of Club Unity and have provided much encouragement.
Larry works for an environmental organisation, which God also put on his heart, with a particular focus on sustainable options for the future of Man to live in more in harmony with Creation. He is a keen skier, guitarist and vocalist and although not particularly good at it, enjoys his football!

John 'nobby' Hopkins
John has been
pursuing the vision of Christian socials for many years. Having pushed
through with Club Unity John has been responsible for much of the
promotions, website and marketing and general direction of the project.
John goes to Christchurch London, part of the NFI group of churches. He is a
sound engineer, an area which God led him into about 10 years ago. He is a
particularly keen surfer and hopes to take part in the national surfing
championships in Biarritz next summer.
