Here's what Chris had to say about the Essex Group: I’ve been involved with the Twenties Thirties Forties group in the area since it started as X-Ception – I was on an organising committee of the old group, passed the organisation baton on to someone else, only to pick it up again in time to join Twenty-Thirty !

My dossier would also tell you that I’m an engineer working in Chelmsford and I’ve been in the area since finishing my studies back in ’91.  Despite being a Staffordshire boy, I seem to have settled in Essex !  I’m now on the leadership team of one of the local churches, where a fair amount of my time is given to leading the music team.

Twenties Thirties Forties and our local variants in past years have always been to do with looking beyond our own immediate church boundaries – to other Christians in different churches and then into the wider community.  That purpose never goes away!
