Review of the year
Over 100 people attended our first ever event which was a sell-out with exclusive hire of the Riverside Carvery at Staines, with guest speaker Peter Gammons. That was followed by around 150 people attending an evening of sketches and drama performed by the Shout Theatre Company. At the end of April we took two full coaches for our first theatre trip to see the musical Joseph in London. In the summer, half a dozen cars took part in the Car treasure hunt, which took us around the countryside, ending up at a local watering hole. After which we had a full compliment of 50 drivers (male & female) who took part in our very own Grand Prix. To end the year over 150 people turned up to see a very funny and thought provoking Adrian Plass, along with his wife, appear live.
