Review of the year
Our eighth year started with a pantomime trip, oh yes it did! Medway (Med) and Thames Valley (TV) both started their years with meals, one Indian and one Chinese. London South East (LSE) started their year with a Barn Dance. At Guildford Ceroc had changed into Rebel Roc, whilst Mid-Surrey held a 70's & 80's night on the same night as Medway staged their own Barn Dance. In May Woking had a Thai meal and TV held their sixth party! The summer months including Go Karting, a Mongolian BBQ for, the new MCS group, a Ramble, and for our annual theatre trip, we went to Richmond theatre, for the first time, to see the musical, Soul Train. In August, Mid-Surrey (MS) arranged a day trip to Littlehampton, and at the end of the summer MCS held a 'late' BBQ. The autumn started with two Karaoke events in different areas, during the same month. In November we held our first Rebel Roc at Feltham which drew just under 100 people. To end the year MS held the first of their 'unusual' but very successful 'Grub Crawls'. Finally, LSE celebrated their first anniversary by returning to the Temujin Bar & Grill.
