Review of the year
Our twelfth year started with three events from the North Staffs group now in their third Year. Meanwhile Middlesex were staging their third very successful Winter Ball, again at Feltham. North Staffs then held their fourth event in the first two months, with a Murder Mystery Evening! After Laserquest Surrey went out to a local Thai restaurant and followed that up with Boating at Byfleet. The highlight of the year came in July, when the Middlesex group organised a Riverboat Shuffle, that went from Walton. Now we have in the past had many Riverboat Shuffles, but there was something different about this one. It may have been that for many people it was their first ever Twenty Thirty event. It may have been that we had a larger than usual (as a proportion) number of non-Christians attending. Anyway for whatever reason it was overwhelmingly voted the best Riverboat ever! At the end of September, Surrey again came up with an original event and visited the Milestones Living History Museum in Basingstoke. We also staged out third annual Picnic in the Park.
