Review of the year
Our Fouteenth year was spent considering the future of the group. After much discusion it was agreed that we carry on, but with a slight amendment, allowing us to incorporate those who had grown with us over the years. In addition we did continue to arrange many events which began with our annual ball, which again attracted around 100 people. Meanwhile we also hosted another two Club Unity events in central London with each one seeing literally hundreds of people attend. Meanwhile the Surrey group continued to arrange a real variety events, as well as their usual 'smaller' events. These included a 'Wheel and a meal', which included a trip on the Millenium wheel in London, and day trips to both Portsmouth and Bournemouth. Meanwhile, the staffordshire group had a whole variety and an amazing eleven events during the year. Finally, we were previlidged to be involved with the historic 'Calling All Nations' event, which took place in the same football stadium where the World Cup final had been staged just six days earlier.
